The Savannah Music Festival (SMF) returns to the city this weekend, kicking off on Thursday, March 28 and running through Saturday, April 13. At venues across downtown Savannah, the SMF brings musical acts in a variety of genres to town to play at historical venues and in front of thousands of SMF attendees.

More than 70 concerts are scheduled for 2024.

The festivalโ€™s kick-off concert will showcase GRAMMY Award-winning jazz vocalist Samara Joy, preceded by the annual Spring Fling, a party to benefit SMFโ€™s year-round artistic and education programs.
Featured 2024 Savannah Music Festival artists will include world renowned soprano Renรฉe Fleming, bluegrass living legend Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder, eminent classical pianist Emanuel Ax, high-energy Southern rockers North Mississippi Allstars with blues icon Bobby Rush, Afro-Cuban jazz pioneer Chucho Valdรฉs, bluegrass supergroup Mighty Poplar, jazz wunderkind Matthew Whitaker, GRAMMY Award-winning Malian Wassoulou singer Oumou Sangarรฉ and acclaimed singer-songwriter-guitarist Madison Cunningham, among others.
