BOTTLES & CANS @ JAZZ’D TAPAS BAR
Entertaining Savannah for close to 15 years, Bottles & Cans plunge the depths of their signature swamp blues sound and emerge from the murk with bayou boogie, Americana, country, folk and rock. These guys can play it all, play it well, and with a ton of soul.

CODY MCCAFFERTY QUARTET @ GOOD TIMES JAZZ BAR
The Central Florida saxophonist and composer sure keeps busy. He’s a full time Gator business student at U. of Florida, he maintains a heavy performance schedule, he’s the jazz ambassador at Daytona Beach’s Museum of Arts & Sciences, and he’s currently working on a big band show. Despite all that, he’s found time to bring his quartet to Savannah. Hear what ambition (and ridiculous time management skills) sounds like.

DAN WEEKS @ THE WORMHOLE
The comic tells observational stories, some so subtle you better pay attention to get the maximum laugh out of it. It’s worth the effort, if only to hear about his fellow 30-somethings on their third marriages and the regrets that come with mocking CrossFit.

BASTARDANE+ GF FROM HELL + KLEPT @ LODGE OF SORROWS
It wouldn’t be a Saturday night if a trio of Savannah rockers weren’t threatening the city’s hearing. Headliners Bastardane (pictured) play a uniquely loose brand of metal that swerves in and out of a more accessible hard rock sound. Riot grrrl badasses GF from Hell get meaner with every outing. Noise experimentalists Klept never fail to surprise.

FLUMMOX @ THE WORMHOLE
You’ve not seen anything quite like this before. How the following genres are amalgamated is anyone’s guess, but here goes: avant-garde audio performance art, stoner/doom metal, psychedelic rock, early Alice Cooper-style creepy lounge, new wave, glam metal and certainly others. With relative ease, the Tennessee combo absolutely makes it work.

LATIN CARAVAN @ GOODTIMES JAZZ BAR
Let loose with the full menu of Latin sounds: Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, Cumbia and Latin Jazz, spiced with a healthy dose of R&B. The South Carolina combo lays down the best of Tito Puente, Celia Cruz, Ray Barretto and other giants of the genre. Everyone needs more of this in their life.

THE ORDER OF ELIJAH + HOMICYDE + OMENKILLER @ EL ROCKO LOUNGE
The most famous ex-Christian deathcore (or is it metalcore?) outfit from Joplin, Mo., seek new levels of brutality on their latest tour. They recently added The Black Dahlia Murder‘s “What A Horrible Night To Have A Curse” to that band’s tribute album. Introductory death from SC’s Homicyde (-metal) and Savannah’s Omenkiller (-core).

XENO + OAKLANDER @ LODGE OF SORROWS
From their mid-00s launch, the minimalist synthpop duo from Brooklyn has been giving hipster private parts all the feelz. The appeal goes beyond the stereotype, as members Sean McBride and Liz Wendelbo perform late ‘70s cold wave-inspired sonic experiments with earworm-sprouting success.
