Brooklyn-based raw rock ‘n’ rollers The YeahTones hit El-Rocko this weekend.

The band was founded by Floridian Jake Pinto after he earned a music degree in New York. Though he studied jazz and went through a more formal training, Pinto’s style in The YeahTones leans on scuzzy, blues-lined rock in the vein of Black Keys and ’60s rock ‘n’ roll. Matching shirts make for a nicely coordinated wall of sound at live shows.

The band released a full-length, Eviction Notice, in 2016.
