Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department’s Violent Crimes detectives “ask the public’s help in obtaining information on a Wednesday morning shooting near the 100 block of West 33rd Street, that injured three males and claimed the life of one female,” police say.
At about 1:22 a.m. Metro received a ShotSpotter alert, “immediately followed by reports of shootings from dispatch and Savannah Fire Department (SFD). Metro arrived to the area, finding shooting victims Jamond Heyward, 17, Brandy Council, 34, Jarrett Myers, 40, and Jeran Washington, 52,” police say.
“Council succumbed to her injuries. Heyward, Myers and Washington were transported by ambulance to Memorial University Medical Center with non-life-threatening wounds,” police say.
