“Officers responded to the report of a shooting in the area and discovered James Lamara Johnson, 37, deceased at the scene,” police say.
“The suspect is described as a thin, dark-skinned, black male approximately 5’9″ with a short haircut, believed to be late teens or earlier twenties. The suspect was last seen wearing a gray jacket over a black long sleeve shirt, running east on Church Street.”
Police are asking the public’s help in finding a possible suspect, Romaine Rontrez Gray.
