Metro Police are investigating a home invasion that occurred at approximately 5:45 a.m., March 30, in the 1700 block of Grove Point Road.

“Two armed men, who were posing as police, knocked on the door before kicking it open. The homeowner met the men with his own firearm, after which the suspects fired their weapons while fleeing the scene,” according to police.

“The suspects are described as black males, with one wearing a yellow jacket, driving a dark colored Chevrolet Silverado,” police say.
