Preflight for Indesign
You can use this to check your Indesign file before sending us PDFs.Right click and choose "Save Link As.." to download a copy of our Indesign preflight settings.
The settings can be loaded into InDesign via the Preflight palette, found under Window>Output>Preflight.

PDF Settings for Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop

Color profiles for glossy and non-glossy pages:
Glossy pages color profile (click to download): US Web Coated (SWOP) v2.csf

Non-Glossy pages color profile (click to download): US Newsprint (SNAP 2007).csf

File Formats accepted: PDF, EPS, JPEG, TIFF, Photoshop.
Color Correction: 3% for detail white, 35% midtones and 85% shadows.
Resolution: 300 dpi for color or grayscale, 600 dpi for bitmap.
Color: CMYK Only. See above for color profiles.
Crop or Bleed marks: NONE, please build ad to exact size with no bleed
Physical media accepted: CD, DVD or thumbdrive

File Formats Accepted: GIF, JPG, PNG, SWF, 3rd party ad tags
Resolution: 72 dpi (dots per inch)
Color Profile: RGB only
File Size: 100K or less Animation: Animation may loop 3x, 24 fps, 15 seconds max recommended for standard ad units.
Click-through URL: Click URL must be included when creative files are submitted or through a 3rd party ad tag. Length cannot exceed 1,000 characters.
Flash: All SWF Flash files must be submitted along with a back-up GIF/JPG/PNG file. Also, all SWF Flash files must contain a clickTag and should be published for Flash Player 10.0 or an earlier version.
Content: Ads must not be designed to blend in with the site, mimic editorial fonts/colors, include fake form elements or incorporate graphic symbols that represent non-existent functionality. If the creative has the same background color as the site, it must contain a visible border.
