The Vagabonds

Southern-rock icons "The Vagabonds" will be back in town celebrating the release of their fifth album entitled "V" with a stop at Southbound Brewing Company on Friday at 7 p.m. The Alabama-born, Tennessee-bred quintet are excited to bring their unique sound, characterized by an eclectic mix of southern rock and country to the stage in Savannah for the first time since the start of the pandemic.

With blistering guitar riffs and earnest song-writing, The Vagabonds have been drawing crowds and selling-out shows since their inception in 2009. Since then, they’ve toured Europe three times, travelled every corner of the United States and rocked major festivals such as the Peach Festival, Sweetwater 420, Magnolia Fest, Sunfest and Taste of Randolph.

With powerhouse performances and memorable lyrics, The Vagabonds have endeared fans worldwide to their authentic and original hits such as “Georgia Fire” and “Shaky Hands.” Integrating musical complexities that draw from multiple genres, their newer material deals with heartfelt themes that touch on the everyday struggles of men and women navigating an increasingly complex landscape of politics, work, life and love.

The energetic musicianship they’ve been known to bring to each performance has earned them prestigious gigs opening for both Lynyrd Skynyrd and the late Gregg Allman. On being back on the road, lead vocalist and songwriter Daniel Allen said, “We can’t wait to be back in Savannah playing live music! We’re bringing new music and a good time, so come join in!”

SouthBound Brewing Company is located at 107 E. Lathrop Avenue in Savannah. Tickets prices range from $12.50 for the ‘Early-Bird 2-pack’ up to $200 for a VIP table of eight guests and can be purchased through Eventbrite at either their Facebook page or on their website at: www.thevegabonds.com/tour
