Thousands flocked downtown Sunday afternoon to peacefully protest the police killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis. Savannah Mayor Van Johnson and many other community leaders and elected officials took part and addressed the crowd. Portions of Bay and Bull Street were blocked off from traffic prior to the event.
