Here's what's going on today (Thursday, June 7): Check out one-man-band Ben Prestage at Huc-a-Poos on Tybee Island; the Florida native plays thrilling and authentic blues and old-timey music on his guitar and kick drums. Big Engine's at Coach's Corner with special guests Banner Thomas (original bassist for Molly Hatchet) and the amazing guitarist Charlie Hargrett (ex-Blackfoot). Guitarist Larry Mitchell and his band are at Live Wire. AND there's an opera recital, Beautiful Voices, at Christ Church on Bull Street. The 7:30 p.m. event is hosted by legendary baritone Sherrill Milnes.
