Savannah Philharmonic strikes a chord with 'A Little Night Music' chamber concert series

The Savannah Philharmonic announced its upcoming series of chamber music concerts titled "A Little Night Music," at three prominent Savannah locations Friday and Saturday, July 21-22. The series will feature a dynamic string quintet comprised of Sinisa Ciric (violin), Ricardo Ochoa (violin), Patrick Shelc (viola), Daniel Mumm (cello), and Marc Chesanow (bass), offering a diverse selection of music, ranging from classical masterpieces by Mozart to the soulful tunes of Etta James.

"SavPhil's 'A Little Night Music' provides a fantastic opportunity to present year-round programming during our 15th Anniversary season, bringing these delightful chamber music concerts to our community for a summer filled with musical enjoyment," stated Amy Williams, Executive Director of Savannah Philharmonic. "Seeking refuge from the summer heat, audiences can come together to experience the magic of music in these splendid venues across the region." 

All concert performances will offer general admission seating.

The concert schedule for "A Little Night Music" is as follows:

  • Friday, July 21, 7:00 p.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church in Richmond Hill
  • Saturday, July 22, 4:00 p.m. at St. Peter's Episcopal Church on Skidaway Island
  • Saturday, July 22, 7:30 p.m. at Congregation Mickve Israel
