Marathon Twitter tips
The Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department has partnered with the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon to use Twitter “to enhance public safety communications with the public,” says a spokesman. Police are encouraging runners and the community to follow them on Twitter @SCMPD. Police will be using the hash tags #SCMPD and #RnRSAV.
