Abstraction: Explorations in Watercolor & Ink

In this 4-week workshop (1 session per week) students will use reality as a jumping off point for explorations in painting using watercolor, india & alcohol inks and line work. We will play between enjoying the spontaneous nature of these paints and making more deliberate choices. Students may choose to delve into the potential for abstraction with these fluid mediums, or may ground their work more firmly in the observed. No previous experience in watercolor or ink is required. ​All levels welcome.
