Savannah Children's Choir's Premiere Choir takes the show overseas.

Félicitations to the Savannah Children’s Choir, whose Premiere Choir was chosen to sing the Saturday evening mass service at Notre-Dame de Paris in Paris, France.

The group heads overseas on Monday, June 4. They will also perform trombonist and composer Wycliffe Gordon’s new composition, “A Soldier’s Heart,” at The Normandy Memorial on D-Day (Wednesday, June 6).

The Premier Choir (ages 12-14) performs at Notre Dame Cathedral on Saturday, June 9. An appearance of this kind is actually quite rare. Choirs are given permission to do brief performances in the famous house of worship, but the honor of participating in the actual service is highly selective.

Those wishing to support the Choir and assist in trip costs can contribute through Go Fund Me or savannahchoir.org.
