Star running back for the Cleveland Browns and former All-American at the University of Georgia, Nick Chubb is hosting a youth football camp in Savannah on Saturday, June 3 at Memorial Stadium. The camp, organized by FlexWork Sports Management, is for players ages 6-16, and registration prices begin at $150 with “upgrade packages” available as well.

Emails and direct messages sent to FlexWork in late May asking for more information about the Nick Chubb Youth Football Camp were not returned.

The camp’s website says the day will consist of “valuable football knowledge and hands-on instruction in a fun, high-energy, positive environment. Camp activities will include lectures, fundamental skill stations, contests, and awards. All campers will be grouped according to age to ensure proper levels of competition and instruction.”

All players are asked to come dressed in athletic attire (gym shorts, cleats, or sneakers).

“Whether your child is new to the game or a seasoned player looking to further develop their skills, we’re sure our camps will be of benefit to him or her,” reads the camp description. “Individual and team awards will be given in each age group to outstanding campers. We are committed to providing your child with a second-to-none experience of a lifetime at an affordable price.”

Each camp participant will receive: Camp team photo with Nick Chubb, limited-edition Nick Chubb FlexWork Football Camp shirt and take-home items from event sponsors.

After an outstanding career with UGA, Chubb was selected by Cleveland in the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft. That summer, he and fellow UGA running back alum Sony Michel came to Savannah for a similar camp held at Savannah Country Day School.

Last season for the Browns, Chubb rushed for 1,525 yards and 13 scores. He is Georgia’s second all-time leading rusher.
