Lecture: Stewardship and Partnership

Award-winning pianist, author and conservationist Chuck Leavell will deliver the first of a series of lectures in memory of the late Armstrong history professor Dr. Mark Finlay, focusing on the importance of environmental stewardship. Leavell, the author of Forever Green: The History and Hope of the American Forest and Growing a Better America: Smart, Strong and Sustainable, will discuss the importance of promoting responsible stewardship of natural resources through strategic collaboration. He will also perform a few songs from his tour with the Rolling Stones at the end of his talk.
