Savannah Jazz Monthly Concert Series- Joe Gransden Duo

Band leader Joe Gransden has performed worldwide and released 17 CDs under his own name. Music has been part of his life from childhood in New York where he became a sideman with the big bands of Tommy Dorsey and Glenn Miller after high school. He went on to perform with big names including Barry White, The Moody Blues, Kenny Rogers, The Temptations, and Aretha Franklin. He performs throughout the Southeast with his Big Band and all over the country with his duet and smaller ensembles, even performing on request for Clint Eastwood.
