In response to the global COVID-19 crisis, Zunzi’s, a South African-inspired restaurant in Savannah, is partnering with America’s Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia for its “Families Feeding Families” initiative.

Starting Wednesday, March 18, "Zunzi’s in Savannah will donate one family meal to a family in need for each family meal purchased," a spokesperson for the restaurant says.

Orders may be placed online or in-store for takeout or delivery via Grubhub, UberEats, Postmates and DoorDash.

Family dinner choices include an option for 3-5 people or 4-6 people.

“During this global crisis, the last thing a family needs to worry about is where their next meal is coming from,” said Chris Smith, owner of Zunzi’s. “People and businesses are struggling throughout our community, and we’re motivated to help in any way we can.

Zunzi’s is at 108 E. York Street in Savannah. Call 912-443-9555 or visit zunzis.com.
