Barka Barkstar Pet Salon and Resort

Barka Barkstar is a premier grooming ,boarding and doggie daycare resort located in Sandfly near Isle of Hope. We offer award winning grooming to include breed clips, creative styles for mixed breeds and hand scissor cuts. We were voted Best Groomer by Connect Savannah for 2009 and 2010. No sedatives are ever used during the grooming process. We do not own nor do we ever use muzzles but instead utilize two person teams to create a relaxed stress free experience for your pet. You will be allowed to choose how long your pet has to stay with us at no extra charge to you and have flexible drop off and pick up schedules whether you need to get them in and out as quick as possible or let them stay all day is up to you! Our boarding facility is 7000sqft with four large indoor play yards for fun. All of our guests stay in large suites capable of housing two large guests and their bedding with plenty of room. There is no extra charge and one flat rate whether you have a small dog or a Great Dane. Several extra large areas are available also at no extra charge for large family groups. All of our guests are allowed as much play time as they want at no extra charge and free run of the place is often an option for the well behaved pet whether they be there for boarding or grooming. Kitties are welcome at Barka Barkstar and are given the same large suites in our nursery area complete with lots of rubbing and attention. We are staffed with a 24 hour on call Veterinary technician for our special needs clients or those on medication. We are recommended by several local Veterinarians. Just ask yours about us!
