BLUES GUITAR LEGEND Tab Benoit is a renowned musician and songwriter, whose most recent endeavor finds him taking on the role of business owner. Benoit, along with his manager, recently launched Whiskey Bayou Records—a label specializing in guitar-driven music that often draws from the Delta blues and blues-rock influences that he's known for in his own music. Artists on the label include Eric McFadden and Dash Rip Rock.

Benoit, a Louisiana native, began his career in Baton Rouge in the 80s, before landing a record deal and recording his hit album Nice And Warm by 1992. He's been touring regularly ever since, and has garnered a reputation as being one of the most prolific and versatile guitarists in the world of blues and rock.

One of Benoit's most notable projects is his 2004 all-star collaboration The Voice of the Wetlands All-Stars, which found Benoit and such iconic artists as Cyril Neville and Anders Osborne, among others, coming together for the greater good.

Now well into his third decade in the industry, Benoit is launching Whiskey Bayou and taking it on the road withe Whiskey Bayou Revue, which features some of the label's roster. The unique tour lands at Victory North on Wed., Dec. 18, with doors at 5 P.M. and the show starting at 7. Tickets start at $26.
