Destroyer of Light

THINGS get heavy with the return of Destroyer of Light and Shroud Eater to Savannah. Austin doom metal outfit Destroyer of Light is back in town with a new album since their last gig here. Whispers in the Threshold, released in July 2017, features seven tracks of sludgy, stony soundscapes with soaring guitar riffs needling throughout.

Shroud Eater never fails to deliver a heart-stopping show of blackened stoner sludge. The Miami band played Pre-Statts Fest fresh off the release of their 2017 LP Strike the Sun; Savannah metalheads are still spinning their merch table purchases.
