The fifth annual Oyster Roast for a Reason was a fundraising event supporting Georgia’s first oyster hatchery. The event took place on Saturday, January 29, on the bluff next to the UGA Aquarium on Skidaway Island. The event featured live music by Sweet Auburn String Band and guests had the opportunity to enjoy and learn about locally harvested Georgia oysters.
