The Guild Hall's Forge area, a warehouse-y type of building featuring a stage, wood shop, and a 3-D printer, has played host to all-ages shows before; maybe you caught the Cusses backer party there a few weeks back, or the legendary Bane in 2014. While it's wonderful to have a decent-sized space providing a legal, all-ages option in a town that offers so few, renting The Forge will cost ya, and sometimes it's a bit more than promoters or bands can spend.
Hence why this show is so rad. The Chromatic Dragon, The Guild Hall's new gamer pub that backs up to The Forge, slings booze and food—so it doesn't have to be 21 and up. Are shows like this gonna be a regular thing? Difficult to say, but let's keep our fingers crossed.
If any band's perfectly preened to play The Dragon, it's Bit Brigade. With projector in tow, the band will beat MegaMan in its entirety, live, while performing the soundtrack to perfection.
It's on the menu, it's on the stage: DIP. See it to believe it, then dip it.
Trophy Wives may have played The Guild Hall more than any other band at this point; will the campus's newest pride and joy withstand their fury? Will nary a joystick be left in their wake? Only one way to find out...
Savannah's Nightly Borders kick things off.
