The self-proclaimed “bad ass all chick rock band” draws influences from all four members, with elements of punk, metal, grunge and experimental psychedelia all heard — very loud. Secret agent space hero punkrawkers Manarovs and the utterly mysterious Beans open.

SATURN QUARTET @ GOOD TIMES JAZZ BAR

That four grads of the fabled Florida State U. Jazz Studies Program would team up to form a killer jazz quartet may not be too surprising. That their bassist and bandleader recorded with Iggy Pop is very surprising. ST’s original jazz interpretations follows that example, and they’ve been earning a strong reputation as a result.

FRI-SAT, JAN 27-28 | 8 PM

BARELY ALIVE @ ELAN SAVANNAH

The rare EDM duo busted out of Massachusetts almost 10 years ago with a few singles on Dirty Duck Audio and Adapted Records. They made a name for themselves with a high-velocity sound that draws mainly from dubstep, trap, and drum-n-bass. Up tempo EDM fans are lucky the vast Feel the Panic tour makes a stop here. Time to get faded.

SAMANTHA FISH @ DISTRICT LIVE

Like fellow Savannah favorite Ana Popovic, Samantha Fish ignored the idea blues guitar is a man’s game. Switching from drums at 15, and after a few not-so-blues recordings, she found her niche and has been perfecting it since. Go see what seven albums and more than 10 years of touring has amounted to. It’s a lot.
